About AV Tech Solutions
We started in event AV, where things have to work the first time
Our story
AV Tech Solutions began with events: sound, screens, and projectors in rooms full of people, where a dead microphone cannot wait until tomorrow. That work taught us to plan carefully, test everything twice, and stay until the event is over.
Our clients kept asking for help with the rest of their technology. The office Wi-Fi that drops every afternoon. The new hire still waiting on a laptop. The shared drive nobody can find anything in. So we started fixing those too.
Then the questions turned to AI. Business owners heard it could answer phones and book appointments, but they did not know what was safe or worth the money. We started doing careful assessments first, and building only what made sense.
Today we bring the same hands-on approach to AI automation, IT support, and audio-visual work for small businesses across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Our mission
Help small businesses use technology that saves staff time and protects their customers, without adding complexity they do not need.
How we approach AI
The SAFE AI method
Every AI project we take on follows four steps. The goal is simple: automate the right tasks, protect your customers, and keep a person in charge.
S
Survey your workflows
We follow real calls, leads, and bookings through your business to see where time and customers get lost.
A
Assess readiness and risk
We check what data a tool would touch, who can change it, what the vendor keeps, and what could go wrong.
F
Fit the right tools
We build small, focused systems with approved answers, limits on what they can do, and a clear handoff to your staff.
E
Evaluate and adjust
We review results and conversations with you regularly, fix what is not working, and turn off what is not helping.
What we value
Safety first
We would rather recommend less automation than put your customers’ information at risk.
Plain language
You should understand what we are installing, what it costs, and why. No jargon, no surprises on the invoice.
Fix the real problem
We look for the cause, not the quickest patch. If a new product is not the answer, we will say so.
Show up
We respond quickly, arrive when we say we will, and stay until it works.
Leave it documented
Passwords stored properly, settings written down, and a network map you own. You are never locked in.
Keep people in charge
Automation handles the routine work. Your team makes the decisions and handles the conversations that matter.
